One Hour or More of Physical Activity

Below we are going to dig in a little more to the ‘1’ of 5-2-1-0: One Hour or More of Physical Activity.

The recommendation for at least one hour of physical activity each day can help your overall health in multiple ways. Physical activity helps build strong bones and muscles and can be a great way to spend more time together as a family. It can also help with stress, as well as improve sleep quality, concentration in school and mood and energy levels. It can be helpful to do a variety of different activities to help prevent boredom and use different muscles. It can be challenging to get in at least one hour of physical activity every day, especially in cooler months, but here are some fun ways to be physically active:
