Performance Leadership Awards for Quality and Outcomes (2022)

Based on the Hospital Performance INDEX, these awards honor top quartile performance (75th percentile or above) among rural hospitals nationwide. The Chartis Center for Rural Health.

CMS Quality Rating

Four-Star Rating (2022). Five-Star Rating (2019, 2021). The star ratings combine measures from the following groups: mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience, effectiveness of care, timeliness of care and efficient use of medical imaging. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

Top 20 Critical Access Hospital (2019)

Top 10 Percent for Patient Satisfaction (2018)

MMH was recognized for overall excellence in quality of care out of 2,156 rural providers. Five-Star AchieveWELL Designation (2017)

Top 100 Great Community Hospital (2012-2014)
