TSH Screening/Thyroid Health
The TSH test checks how well your thyroid is working.
- Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid): Can cause weight loss, rapid heartbeat, nervousness, sweating, fatigue and an enlarged thyroid (goiter).
- Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid): Can cause fatigue, weight gain, sensitivity to cold, dry skin, hair loss, irregular periods and depression.
A1C Screening/Diabetes Health
The A1C test measures average blood sugar levels over the past 2-3 months. It helps health care providers:
- Detect prediabetes and diabetes
- Monitor blood sugar control for people with diabetes
- Guide and adjust treatment plans
Higher A1C levels indicate a greater risk of diabetes-related health concerns.
