Minor Care is designed to provide convenient, timely and quality care to patients who are experiencing less complicated injuries or illnesses. It can be an option for patients who can’t be seen immediately by their physician or for those who do not require the higher level of care provided in the Emergency Department.
When you arrive at the main campus hospital, minor care services are provided within the Emergency Services Department. Many patients may be seen by one of our board-certified nurse practitioners.
Minor Care fees are less expensive than traditional Emergency Department charges and are based on the level of care provided, as well as the level of diagnostic testing, supplies and other services required.
