Welcome to the world, Francis Aloysius Hartman — the first baby born at our new hospital!
Francis was born at MMH on Sunday, August 9, to proud parents Brooklynn and Justin of Batesville, who are both teachers in our local community. With an August 6 due date, Francis kept everyone waiting just a few extra days before making his arrival.
Delivered via C-section by Dr. Emily Housley and Dr. Kelley Fitzpatrick, Francis weighed an impressive 10 lbs. 7 oz. and measured 21.5 inches long.
With their due date falling so close to the opening of our new hospital, the Hartmans knew there was a chance their little one would be among the first babies delivered here.
“Everyone we encountered was top-notch. We felt confident delivering at the new hospital because we knew the same amazing team would be there to care for us,” shared Brooklynn and Justin.
Congratulations, Hartman family!
