We are offering free prostate screenings on April 24 at the Outpatient & Cancer Center. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men in the U.S., so those over 50 should be screened each year. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 812.933.5602.

Why is prostate screening so important?
Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men in the US. Early detection is key to successful treatment and improved outcomes.

Who should be screened?
Most men over the age of 50 should be screened each year. (Must not have had a PSA level checked within the past year and not currently being monitored by a urologist for elevated PSA levels. No history of prostate cancer.)

What should I expect at the screening?
The screening will include a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test and digital exam.

Early detection can save lives!
Don’t wait until it’s too late. Call 812.933.5602 to schedule your appointment. Limited appointments are available.

All screenings will take place on the second floor of our Outpatient & Cancer Center, located at 24 Six Pine Ranch Road in Batesville.
