Ways to give

Although monetary donations are always appreciated, there are many other ways you can give to the Foundation. Get information about our Grateful Patient program and other opportunities.

Grateful Patient

Maybe it was a smile, kind word or gesture which brought you or your loved one comfort. At MMH, patients often ask if there is a way for them to recognize caregivers who provided exceptional care during their stay.

Events

Each year, the Foundation sponsors a variety of events designed to improve the health and wellness of our communities.

Our leadership team is responsible for encouraging community engagement and philanthropic support of MMH.

Upcoming events

Hospice Walk

Walk With Me Hospice 5K

Our Walk with Me Hospice 5K brings together our community to walk in support of the programs and services provided to our terminally-ill patients and their families regardless of their ability to pay. All proceeds from this event benefit the Health Foundation’s Hospice Fund.

Annual Gala

Annual Gala

A sold-out crowd will gather for our signature event. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and includes dinner, an open bar, fabulous entertainment, live and silent auctions and much more! All proceeds from this event benefit the Health Foundation’s Greatest Need Fund.

Why I Give

WHY I GIVE

Neal Wiggerman &
Susan Kayser

“When our first child was born, we recognized how lucky we are to have a terrific hospital in our area. Even if MMH was an “average” system, having this access in our community is important for us and our fellow residents.

But MMH is not average, and nearly every experience is special and we receive outstanding care. Interactions with reception, phlebotomists, specialists, cafeteria staff and physicians are regularly wonderful. This would not happen at a large hospital system. We know we need to support MMH for the care the community needs, but the excellent staff at every level make it that much easier to support.

Unfortunately, we don’t live in a world where quality health care organizations are automatically supported. Rural hospitals across the country are under threat, and those of us who are able to provide a little extra have a responsibility to do so.

Knowing our contribution could be used to help community members in their most challenging moments, or make life easier for the staff to which we are so grateful is also rewarding.”

Become a volunteer

At Margaret Mary Health, our volunteers are an essential part of the care and compassion we provide every day. They generously share their time, talents, and kindness to support our patients, visitors, and staff, helping create a welcoming and healing environment.

Their dedication makes a meaningful difference throughout our organization and strengthens our connection to the communities we serve. If you’re looking for a rewarding way to give back, we would love to hear from you.
