Family holding baby at Margaret Mary Health

This week has been filled with many meaningful “lasts” as we closed one chapter in MMH history. One of the sweetest moments was the birth of the final baby at our old hospital.

On August 6, Tucker David was born to Raymond and Julie Henry of Greensburg, officially becoming the last baby born within those hospital walls. Delivered by Dr. Emily Housley, Tucker weighed 9 lbs. 4.4 oz. and measured 20.5 inches long.

The moment carried even more meaning for Julie, who is a labor and delivery nurse at MMH. She shared that while she had thought there was a chance she might deliver the first baby at the new hospital, she never considered that she could have the last baby born at the old one. She described the experience as “very sentimental.”

Tucker was welcomed home by his big brothers, Lane and Samuel. Congratulations to the Henry family and welcome, Tucker! You’ll always have a special place in MMH history.
