In response to the devastating flooding that has impacted Franklin County and surrounding communities, Margaret Mary Health is donating $50,000 to the Franklin County Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund to support immediate needs and long-term recovery efforts.
“Like many across our community, we have been deeply saddened by the devastating flooding that has impacted Franklin County and surrounding areas,” said Liz Leising, president and CEO of MMH. “Our thoughts are with everyone who has experienced loss, damage or disruption during this difficult time.
“In times like these, supporting one another matters more than ever. While no donation can undo the loss and devastation so many families have experienced, we hope these funds help ease some of the burden and provide support as they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their homes and lives.”
In addition to the financial contribution, MMH team members are supporting local relief and recovery efforts throughout the affected communities.
As a community-based health system serving southeastern Indiana, MMH remains committed to standing alongside its neighbors during times of need. This donation will help provide assistance where it is needed most as communities work to rebuild.
